There is a misconception that a bubble show is just somebody displaying giant bubbles outside in the park. Richard has created a comedy bubble show which is full of magical bubble tricks giant bubbles and plenty of laughter. The show is perfect fun for your bubble loving little ones and popular with grown-ups who have never seen a bubble show before.
If you are looking for something a little different for your little one’s celebration, the comedy bubble show will not disappoint. Richards bubble show has proved to be a huge hit at birthday parties, special celebrations and preschools/primary schools etc with a fun mix of amazing bubble tricks, bubble games and the finale with the opportunity to stand in a giant bubble.
Richard performs his show on a 4 x 2 metre area, which he will cover with layers of special mats to absorb any bubble liquid. All the bubble equipment will be placed on these mats. If a bubble pops outside this area on the floor, Richard carries plenty of towels for a quick tidy up.
Saturday and Sundays are the most popular requested days for bookings. Entertainment timings offered are between 10am and 1pm or 3pm - 6pm. This gives the option of booking around a childs normal lunchtime or teatime. Bookings are also available as a weekday after-school party option which is very popular.
We bring our own music and professional pa. Music is played at a sensible level. If music for games/dancing is included in the entertainment option, Richard will check that they are suitable songs for the age group with no expletives.
Of course not, there are often younger or older siblings at parties. We all know that all ages love bubbles and will be fascinated with all the bubble tricks.
The normal numbers for a standard party are the birthday childs class size, i.e. up to 30 children. Too many children can sometimes be a little overwhelming for the birthday star, but please ask if you have a specific reason for wanting to invite more children.
We cover our local area of Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, and the county of Dorset. However, for an additional fuel charge, Richard will travel to Southampton and Portsmouth, as well as other areas of Hampshire, Wiltshire, West Sussex, and Surrey.
We do supply colourful party invites which, once your deposit has been paid, will be despatched to you by post. Imagine the excitement of your guests when they receive the party invite announcing that the popular Bubble man will be performing at your childs birthday party!
If you want to add some extra fun to your party, why not opt for the 2-hour indoor package. Before doing bubbles, Richard was a well know local kids DJ. He will play all of the children’s favourite hits along with fun games. Please note all the games are non-elimination.
With allergies, good health and sustainability in mind, Richard has decided not to hand out sweets or prizes. As previously stated, parties are about friendship, having fun together and making great memories.
Richard has performed his bubble show at many family homes. Please note the minimum space requirements for the show are 4 x 2 metres floor area x 2.5 metres height. Richard will lay down special mats to cover the space.
Unfortunately, due to the science of bubbles it cannot be performed outside. Bubbles are very thin and any little breeze/wind will burst the bubble even on a hot summer’s day. Richard likes to perform a multitude of clever bubble tricks, and this will not be possible. However, we also offer an outdoor bubble display party with giant bubbles and bubble workshops. This has proved very popular during the summer months.
On Richard’s guidance, the children will learn to make their very own giant bubbles. This includes a fun packed lesion in the art of bubble making with wands and other bubble apparatus. Children will have colourful workstations to enjoy their bubble fun play with plenty of bubble juice for everyone.
This popular finale to the bubble show unfortunately cannot be performed outside. Any breeze will burst the giant bubble, and this is the reason it is not offered on our outside packages.
However, if you’ve booked an outdoor party, Richard can also set up his CIB (Child Inside a Bubble) apparatus in a sufficient indoor space. He would happily perform this for the birthday child and friends and even adults.
Yes, Richard has Public Liability Insurance in place, a PAT testing certificate and a recent DBS check certificate, a copy of which can be provided on request.
Yes, Richard has a brother with additional needs so is completely comfortable to offer adaptations to his entertainment for parties/events booked. Please let him know on booking so he can discuss this with you.
He has successfully provided entertainment for numerous events involving children with a variety of special needs. If it helps your child, he will have a quiet chat with them before the party starts to reassure them and discuss what they would/would not like included.

Cancellation:
Cancellations within 28 days of the event date: 50% of the contracted fee is payable Cancellations within 14 days of the event date: 100% of the contracted fee is payable.
In ALL cases, any booking deposits are also non-returnable.
Rescheduling:
Richard will allow an event to be re-scheduled with at least 14 days notice prior to the event date. If this is not provided, he reserves the right to charge a £30.00 administration fee when rescheduling. Rescheduled events must take place within 6 weeks of the cancellation date.
Richard always recommends having a planned indoor option available to you should the good old British weather make it impossible to be outside on the day of your outdoor party/event.
